Una lista de 36 jugadores elegibles para integrar el equipo Cuba al III Clásico Mundial, fue dada a conocer por la Dirección de Béisbol, luego de finalizada la primera etapa de la 52 Serie Nacional de ese deporte.
Comandada por Víctor Mesa y Jorge Fuentes, la nómina quedará en 28 hombres, presumiblemente antes del 14 de febrero, cuando la comitiva debe partir hacia Taipei de China, informa hoy el periódico Granma.
Añade que en ese país asiático los preseleccionados sostendrán varios partidos de confrontación previos a la exigente lid, en la cual la selección cubana debutará el 3 de marzo contra Brasil y luego rivalizará con China y Japón, por ese orden.

Receptores: Eriel Sánchez, Yulexis la Rosa, Frank Camilo Morejón y Yosvani Peraza.
